Spotlight on Your Impact

Gatorverse Hackathon
Throughout the weekend, students participated in skill-building workshops and were guided by alumni mentors working in tech fields. From a mid-event breakthrough that reenergized a team, to final presentations showcasing creativity and collaboration, the hackathon was both high-impact and high-energy. It also highlighted the power of mentorship, with these alumni helping to inspire students through real-world experience in problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation: Jacob Boord ’24, Noor Buchi ’22, Yanqiao Chen ’24, Bill Jones ’09, Simon Jones ’24, Zach Mendel ’12, Hannah Schultz ’22, Jacob Sutter ’20, and Karol Vargas ’19.
