Student Cheering

Will you help us shape the next generation of Allegheny students?

Your influence can make Allegheny College stand out for prospective students by highlighting its vibrant community, dedicated alumni, and the warmth and support that will define their experience.

It can look like a quick conversation in the check-out line. A sharing of a post on social media. Or a strategic placement of an Allegheny brochure at your place of business.

Shout it from the mountaintops and share your pride — be a part of a future Gator’s story and invite them to call Allegheny home.

“When I think about how I came to Allegheny, it falls back on my father. He had a coworker who had gone to Allegheny. She was so kind to sit down with me at a small cafe in Waco, Texas, and have a 2+ hour conversation about her experience and her family’s experience with Allegheny and the Meadville community at large.

She spoke about how small and tight knit of a community it was, and that was just the kind of environment I was looking for. I had never been at a school for more than two years due to moving and other transitions between K-12, so I was really looking for a home in a community and that’s what she portrayed it as. That conversation got me here!”

“I found out about Allegheny through my guidance counselor. She recommended that I put 10 to 20 schools on my list of choices. At the time, I only had two, and my guidance counselor was not OK with that. She filled in a couple of other schools for me, Allegheny being one of them. It ended up being the first campus I ever visited.

I instantly fell in love with it. The area was very different from what I’m used to in Newark, NJ, which is more of an urban setting, and I kind of wanted to try something different. I went back that same week and told my guidance counselor, yep, I’m going to Allegheny. She was super happy with that!”

Spotlight On Your Impact

Headshot of Graham Kralic ’25

Graham Kralic ’25

Graham Kralic ’25 is all in for Allegheny. With less than a year as an alum under his belt, he stepped up to invite future Gators by writing Gator Greeting notes, referring a prospective student, and volunteering to help with future admissions efforts such as college fairs. He also worked to inspire fellow students—speaking with Professor Bianco’s class about his senior comp experience. This fall, Graham made his first gift to Allegheny, setting up a recurring donation to invest in the Economics Department.

When asked why he is in for Allegheny, he shared, “I am in for Allegheny because it challenged me, rewarded me, and ultimately changed my life in immeasurable ways. Allegheny has given me tenfold what I paid for it, and my goal is to make that known to as many people as possible!”

Thank you, Graham, for being one of our “All-in Gators” for the In For Allegheny campaign!

“The way that I first heard about Allegheny was of course through my parents, who were both graduates, but also through an admissions counselor when I visited the school for the first time. He talked a lot about his research and he was super passionate about it. My parents also talked a lot about their research, and the professors and advisors who really helped them find their way at Allegheny and in life afterwards.”
